S&P gives AA to Norfolk, Va., capital improvement bonds

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an AA rating to the City of Norfolk, Va.'s $153.13 million series 2008C capital improvement bonds.

The outlook is stable. S&P also affirmed the same AA rating for the city's outstanding debt.

The 2008C bonds are due April 1, 2028.
