OppenheimerFunds reports 8.31% stake in Arena Pharmaceuticals

Philadelphia, Jan. 26 - OppenheimerFunds, Inc. reported an investment in 8.31% of Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as of Dec. 31, 2008, according to an SC 13G filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

That represents a passive stake of 6,155,057 shares.

Arena is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company located in San Diego.
