Noranda Aluminum opts to once more pay interest in kind on floaters

New York, Oct. 29 - Noranda Aluminum Holding Corp. will pay all interest due under Noranda Aluminum Acquisition Corp.'s $510 million of senior floating-rate notes due 2015 in kind for the next two payment periods, according to a 10-Q filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

In July, the company announced that it would pay the November coupon in kind. It added the May 2011 interest payment in its filing with the SEC on Friday.

Noranda is a Franklin, Tenn.-based producer of value-added primary aluminum products as well as high-quality rolled aluminum coils.
