Fitch rates Nomos Bank issue A-(rus)

Fitch Ratings said it assigned a national long term rating of A-(rus) to Nomos Bank's RUR 5 billion 1,820-day bond series 9 issue. Nomos has a long-term issuer default rating of B+, short-term issuer default rating of B and national long-term rating of A-(rus).

The outlook is stable.

The bank's obligations under the issue will rank at least equally with all its other senior unsecured creditors, save those preferred by law. Under Russian law, the claims of retail depositors rank above those of other senior unsecured creditors.

Nomos is primarily a corporate bank and has close relationships with some of Russia's large and mid-sized companies, Fitch said.
