NiSource buys back $32.4 million floaters, $67.6 million 7.88% notes

Chicago, Feb. 27 - NiSource Inc. repurchased $32.4 million of its $450 million floating-rate notes due November 2009 and $67.6 million of its $1 billion 7.88% unsecured notes due November 2010, according to a 10-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company bought back the notes in January.

NiSource is a Merrillville, Ind.-based company engaged in natural gas transmission, storage and distribution as well as electric generation, transmission and distribution.
