NiSource plans to price senior notes in two-part offering

Los Angeles, Aug. 12 – NiSource Inc. plans to price senior notes in two parts, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, BNP Paribas Securities Corp., BofA Securities, Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC and Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. are the joint bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to fund the purchase of notes under concurrent tender offers and to redeem any notes that remain outstanding after the expiration of the offers as well as to redeem the company’s series D notes.

The energy holding company is based in Merrillville, Ind.
