New Issue: BMO sells $1.16 million autocallable barrier notes with contingent coupons on NIKE

By Kiku Steinfeld

Chicago, April 26 – Bank of Montreal priced $1.16 million of autocallable barrier notes with contingent coupons due Feb. 3, 2025 linked to the common stock of NIKE, Inc., according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will pay a monthly coupon equal to 7.75% per year if the stock closes at or above its coupon barrier level, 63% of its initial price, on the relevant observation date.

The notes will be automatically redeemed at par plus the contingent coupon if the stock closes at or above its initial price on any monthly observation date starting Jan. 31, 2024.

Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to the decline of the stock, payable in shares or cash at the issuer’s option.
