S&P rates Arctic Infrastructure bonds A-

Standard & Poor's said it assigned a preliminary A- rating to Arctic Infrastructure Ltd. Partners' C$140.8 million senior secured bonds due June 30, 2047.

The outlook is stable.

The issuer will be a limited partnership known as Arctic Infrastructure LP.

The rating reflects the strong rationale for the project, strong government counterparty and well-developed contractual structure, S&P said.

Arctic Infrastructure has been chosen to design, build, maintain and rehabilitate the Iqaluit International Airport Improvement Project located in Iqaluit, Nunavut, the agency said.
