Moody's rates N.Y. water bonds Aaa, Aa1

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a rating of Aaa to the New York State Environmental Facilities Corp.'s upcoming sale of $261.68 million of state clean water and drinking water revolving funds revenue bonds, series 2008A (New York City Municipal Water Finance Authority projects - second resolution bonds).

Moody's also said it assigned an Aa1 rating to the corporation's $218.29 million of state clean water and drinking water revolving funds revenue bonds, series 2008B (New York City Municipal Water Finance Authority projects - second resolution bonds) subordinated SRF bonds.

Sale of the bonds is expected on May 15.

The outlook is stable.
