New York City Industrial Development Agency plans $82.28 million to support Citi Field construction

New York, Jan. 21 - The New York City Industrial Development Agency will offer $82.28 million in series 2009 pilot bonds (Aa2/AAA/), according to a preliminary statement.

Citigroup will act as underwriter for the negotiated offer.

The serial bonds will carry maturities from 2010 to 2019. A term bond will be due Jan. 1, 2030.

Proceeds will support the construction of Citi Field, the new home field of the New York Mets.
