New York City prepares $470 million sale of G.O. bonds for Tuesday

New York, March 16 - The City of New York is expected to price $470 million of series 2012G general obligation bonds on Tuesday, according to a preliminary official statement.

The offering includes $370 million of series 2012G-1 tax-exempt bonds and $100 million of series 2012G-2 taxable bonds.

The bonds will be sold competitively. Public Resources Advisory Group and A.C. Advisory Inc. are the financial advisers.

The 2012G-1 bonds are due 2014 to 2029, and the 2012G-2 bonds are due 2014 to 2029.

Proceeds will be used for capital purposes.
