Des Moines, June 12 - New Millennium Capital Corp. settled a private placement of shares for C$8,999,800.25, down slightly from the C$9 million deal size announced on May 29.
The company sold 11.29 million non flow-through shares at C$0.62 each and 2,666,667 flow-through shares at C$0.75 each.
The placement was first announced on May 28 as an approximately C$6.5 million offering of about C$5 million non flow-through shares and about C$1.5 million flow-through shares.
When pricing was announced on May 29, it was expected to include C$7 million of non flow-through shares and C$2 million of flow-through shares.
Raymond James Ltd. will act as agent.
Settlement is expected on June 12.
Proceeds will be used for exploration and development on the company's iron ore projects and for general working capital.
New Millennium is a mineral exploration company based in Calgary, Alta.
