New Mexico to sell $500 million TRANs Thursday

New York, Nov. 10 - New Mexico is planning to price its previously announced $500 million offering of series 2008-09 tax and revenue anticipation notes on Thursday, according to a preliminary official statement.

The notes (MIG1/SP-1+/) will be sold on a competitive basis with Fiscal Strategies Group as the financial adviser.

The notes mature June 30, 2009.

Proceeds will be used to pay for capital expenses until taxes are collected.
