New Jersey Transportation Trust to sell $852.5 million bonds Jan. 7

New York, Dec. 30 - The New Jersey Transportation Trust Authority plans to bring $852.5 million in series 2010 transportation system capital appreciation bonds on Jan. 7, according to an offering calendar. A retail order period is scheduled for Jan. 6.

The bonds (A1/AA/A+) will be sold on a negotiated basis with Barclays Capital Inc. as the lead manager.

The deal includes series 2010A-1 tax-exempt bonds, series 2010A-2 tax-exempt bonds and series 2010B federally taxable Build America Bonds.

Proceeds from the sale will be used to fund transportation infrastructure projects.
