Fitch rates William Paterson University, N.J., bonds A+

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an A+ rating to about $88.7 million of fixed-rate series 2008C revenue bonds issued by the New Jersey Educational Facilities Authority on behalf of William Paterson University.

The bonds are expected to price via negotiated sale during the week of June 2.

At the same time, Fitch assigned ratings to the following series of authority issued bonds:

• $2.1 million series 1974C, 1976A and 1981B revenue bonds A+;

• $99.4 million series 1998D, 1999D, 2000A, 2002E, 2004A and 2005E revenue bonds A+ (underlying).

The outlook is stable.
