Moody's rates N.J. bonds A1

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an A1 long-term rating with stable outlook to the State of New Jersey's $1.13 billion of school facilities construction refunding bonds, 2008 series V, to be issued through the New Jersey Economic Development Authority.

The issue includes $63.945 million of subseries V-1, $301.47 million of subseries V-2, $177.25 million of subseries V-3, $250.635 million of subseries V-4 and $294.975 million of subseries V-5.

Sale of the bonds is expected on April 23.

The long-term outlook for the state is stable.
