S&P rates New Jersey COPs AA-

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an AA- rating and stable outlook to New Jersey's $300 million of series 2008A certificates of participation (COPs).

S&P also said it affirmed the AA- unenhanced ratings on the state's COPs (equipment lease purchase agreement), series 1998 A and series 2004A.

The outlook is stable.
