Moody's rates ADM debt A2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an A2 rating to Archer-Daniels-Midland Co.'s (ADM) issuance of roughly $570 million of debentures due in 2043.

The outlook is stable.

The debentures, along with roughly $195 million of cash, were used to fund the exchange offers that were announced by ADM on Sept. 14.
