New Issue: Nevado Venture settles C$1.92 million private placement of equity units

Knoxville, Tenn., Jan. 4 - Nevado Venture Capital Corp. said it raised C$1.92 million in a non-brokered private placement of units. The deal priced for up to C$1.5 million on Dec. 7.

The company sold C$1.75 million in A units at C$800 apiece. Each A unit consists of 2,000 flow-through common shares, 500 non-flow-through common shares and 2,500 warrants. Each A warrant will be exercisable at C$0.40 for one year and at C$0.50 for another year.

The company also sold C$175,000 in B units at C$250 apiece. The B units consist of 1,000 non-flow-through common shares and 1,000 warrants. Each B warrant will be exercisable at C$0.40 for one year.

The MineralFields Group invested C$1.25 million by buying A units.

Proceeds will be used for exploration and to increase working capital.
