Knoxville, Tenn., April 27 - Nevada Copper Corp. said it took in C$23.68 million in a private placement of stock. The deal priced for C$20.59 million with a C$3.09 million greenshoe on April 9.
The company sold 7,762,500 common shares at C$3.05 apiece. Of the shares, 1,012,500 were part of the fully exercised greenshoe.
The deal was conducted by a syndicate of underwriters led by Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd. and including Scotia Capital Inc.
Proceeds will be used to fund continued development of the Pumpkin Hollow Property and for general working capital purposes.
Nevada Copper is a mining company based in Vancouver, B.C.
