Versata sells remaining shares of NetManage

Charlotte, N.C., May 6 - Versata Enterprises, Inc. sold its remaining 969,965 shares of NetManage, Inc. on May 1, according to a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The shares were priced between $6.90 and $6.94 each, the filing stated.

Versata no longer has an ownership interest in NetManage.

In a prior SEC filing, Versata reported the purchase of 814,844 shares of NetManage on March 4 and March 5 priced from $8.81 to $8.85 each.

Micro Focus International plc, a Newbury, U.K.-based software company, announced on May 1 it agreed to acquire NetManage for $7.20 per share in a deal valued at some $73.3 million.

NetManage is a Cupertino, Calif., software company specializing in transforming legacy applications into web-based business solutions.
