Versata buys 814,844 shares of NetManage

Tacoma, Wash., March 13 - Investors led by Versata Enterprises, Inc. bought 814,844 shares of NetManage, Inc. common stock for $8.81 to $8.85 each.

The shares were purchased on March 4 and March 5, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Following the purchase, the reporting persons beneficially own 969,965 shares of the Cupertino, Calif.-based software company's common stock.
