Neptune Technologies nixes private placement due to market conditions

Knoxville, Tenn., June 17 - Neptune Technologies & Bioressources Inc. said it will not proceed with a private placement which priced May 4.

Considering current market conditions and company stock performance, Neptune has decided not to proceed with the financing.

Based in Laval, Quebec, Neptune Technologies develops nutritional products from marine biomasses.
