Nelnet intends to redeem various student loan asset-backed notes

Norfolk, Va., Feb. 10 – Nelnet Education Loan Funding plans to redeem student loan asset-backed notes following tender offers, according to multiple notices.

The following will be redeemed on Feb. 25:

• $3,127,000 of senior class 2004-2A-4 Libor rate notes; and

• $200 million of senior class 2004-2A-5A reset-rate notes.

The following will be redeemed on Feb. 20:

• $68.05 million of senior class 2004-2A-5B auction-rate notes;

• $68.05 million of senior class 2004-2A-5C auction-rate notes;

• $15.3 million of subordinate class 2004-2B-1 auction-rate notes; and

• $15.3 million of subordinate class 2004-2B-2 auction-rate notes.

The notes will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption dates.
