New Issue: Nebraska Public Power prices $215.12 million of series 2012 G.O.s

New York, Oct. 17 - The Nebraska Public Power District sold $215.12 million of series 2012 general obligation bonds, according to a pricing sheet.

The deal included $116.73 million of series 2012B G.O. bonds and $98.39 million of series 2012C G.O. bonds.

The 2012B bonds are due 2014 to 2033 with term bonds due in 2037 and 2043. The serial coupons range from 2% to 5% coupons. The 2037 bonds have a 3.625% coupon priced at 99.598 and the 2043 bonds have a 3.625% coupon priced at 98.641.

The 2012C bonds are due 2014 to 2029 with 3% to 5% coupons.

The bonds (A1//A+) were sold through Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Proceeds will be used to finance generation and transmission capital additions to the district's system, as well as to refund certain outstanding bonds.
