Moody's rates Creighton University bonds Aaa/VMIG1

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a rating of Aaa/VMIG1 to the Nebraska Educational Finance Authority's $115 million series 2008 adjustable-rate revenue and revenue refunding bonds issued for Creighton University.

The expected sale date is July 30.

The ratings are based on a letter of credit provided by JPMorgan Chase Bank, NA, which Moody's rates Aaa for long-term obligations and Prime-1 for short-term obligations. Moody's maintains an underlying rating of A2 on Creighton University.
