Navios Maritime Holdings buys 1.12 million units for 20.1% interest

Madison, Wis., Feb. 11 – Navios Maritime Partners LP said it completed a private placement of common units, raising $14.7 million.
Navios Maritime Partners issued 1,120,547 common units at $13.09 per unit to Navios Maritime Holdings Inc., according to a press release.
The per share price is an 8.72% premium to the Feb. 10 closing share price of $12.04.
Following the private placement and a concurrent $60.2 million follow-on public offering of common units, Navios Maritime Holdings owns a 20.1% interest in Navios Maritime Partners.
Based in Monaco, Navios Partners owns and operates dry cargo vessels.
