Natixis: Lefort, Sandlass appointed to global structured credit group

By Toni Weeks

San Luis Obispo, Calif., May 16 - Natixis announced the addition of Emmanuel Lefort and Hank Sandlass to its Fixed Income and Global Structured Credit and Solutions (GSCS) teams within Corporate and Investment Banking.

Appointed global head of GSCS, Lefort will assume the duties of previous global head Kevin Alexander, who was promoted to head of fixed income, Global Market Americas. Lefort, who will remain in London, has held several structuring and management positions, most recently as head of structuring within GAPC in Paris and also within GSCS, first in Paris and then in London, where he has led European operations.

Sandlass was appointed deputy head of GSCS Americas, assuming responsibility for the U.S.-based operation, and will report globally to Lefort and locally to Alexander. Sandlass will also continue to manage Natixis' U.S. Asset Liability Management/Conduits Group, which he has done since 2003.

Natixis is the corporate, investment and financial services arm of Paris-based Group BPCE, the second-largest banking group in France.
