Nationwide Financial Services now part of Nationwide Mutual Insurance

Charlotte, N.C., Jan. 2 - Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. completed its acquisition of Nationwide Financial Services, Inc., it was announced on Friday.

In August, Nationwide Mutual agreed to acquire all of the Nationwide Financial class A common stock it did not already own for $52.25 per share.

Nationwide Financial, based in Columbus, Ohio, is part of the Nationwide group of companies and offers diversified insurance and financial services.
