New Issue: NationsHealth raises $1.5 million from private placement of shares

New York, Aug. 24 - NationsHealth, Inc. said it has completed a private placement of stock for $1,500,955.
The company sold 273,897 shares at $5.48 each to US Bioservices Corp.
The proceeds from the offering will be used to fulfill NationsHealth's capital contribution obligations to the limited liability operating agreement with NationsHealth Specialty Rx, LLC.
Based in Sunrise, Fla., NationsHealth produces discount prescription cards.
