National Healthcare investor's stake drops to 8.2%

Tacoma, Wash., Nov. 6 - National Healthcare Corp. investor Ira Sochet's stake in the company dropped to 8.2% after a series of transactions.

Sochet purchased 121,398 shares of the company's stock between Aug. 6 and Oct. 29 for $50.81 to $55.02 apiece.

Sochet also sold 13,104 shares between Aug. 6 and Oct. 11 for between $50.56 and $55.27 each.

The investor and Investors Risk Advantage LP together beneficially own 1,023,725 shares, or 8.2%, of the company's common stock, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

On June 15, the reporting persons owned 1,164,323 shares, or 9.3%, of the Murfreesboro, Tenn., long-term care hospital operator's outstanding stock.
