National Grid repurchases £22.28 million of 6% instruments due 2017

Cleveland, Oct. 21 - National Grid Gas plc announced it repurchased and will cancel £22.28 million of its £300 million in 6% instruments due June 2017.

Following the repurchase, there are £263.285 million of the instruments outstanding.

National Grid is an electricity and gas company based in London.
