New Mountain ups stake in National Fuel to 9.3%

Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 7 - National Fuel Gas Co. investors led by New Mountain Vantage GP, LLC purchased 300,356 shares of the company's stock between June 21 and Aug. 3 priced from $43.14 to $44.59 each.

The transactions were listed in a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

New Mountain and the additional reporting persons own 7,737,826 shares, or about 9.3%, of the Williamsville, N.Y., diversified energy company.
