National Coal shareholder Centaurus Energy cuts stake to 4.7%

Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 14 - National Coal Corp. shareholders led by Centaurus Energy Master Fund, LP sold 712,057 shares between Aug. 10 and Aug. 13 priced from $0.90 to $0.95 each, according to a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday.

Between July 27 and Aug. 7, Centaurus sold 897,568 shares and kept a 6.8% ownership interest, a prior SEC filing said.

Centaurus beneficially owns 1,599,870 shares, or 4.7%, of the Knoxville, Tenn.-based coal producer's outstanding stock.
