Loeb sells shares of National Atlantic Holdings

Charlotte, N.C., Nov. 20 - National Atlantic Holdings Corp. investors led by Loeb Partners Corp. sold 142,354 shares of the company' stock, reducing its stake in the company to 4.8%.

The shares were sold between Oct. 23 and Nov. 12 priced from $5.99 to $9.90 each, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Loeb may engage in discussions with National Atlantic's management or its board of directors concerning the business and future plans of the company, the filing stated.

On July 9, Loeb reported an 8.33% stake in the Freehold, N.J., property and casualty insurance company.
