Fitch rates Nassau County, N.Y., bonds A+

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an underlying A+ rating to the Nassau County Sewer and Storm Water Authority, N.Y.'s $137.4 million of system revenue bonds, 2008 series A.

The bonds are scheduled for negotiated sale on May 20.

Fitch also said it upgraded the rating to A+ from A on about $72.2 million of outstanding parity debt.

The outlook is stable.
