S&P ups Nassau County, N.Y., sewer bonds to A+

Standard & Poor's said it raised its underlying rating on Nassau County Sewer and Stormwater Financing Authority, N.Y.'s special assessment bonds to A+ from A-.

The outlook is stable.

At the same time, S&P said it assigned the A+ rating and stable outlook to the authority's $137.4 million of series 2008A system revenue bonds.
