New Issue: NanoViricides details $5.1 million private placements of common stock

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 6 - NanoViricides, Inc. took in $3.22 million from a private placement of restricted common stock on Sept. 30, according to an 8-K filed Tuesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission. It raised $1.88 million in another offering, which was exclusively for its warrant holders, for a total of $5.1 million.
The company sold 2,675,000 common shares and warrants for 1,337,500 shares in the first offering. It sold 3,759,800 shares and warrants for 3,759,800 shares in the second offering.
The warrants are exercisable at $1.00 for three years.
NanoViricides is a West Haven, Conn., biopharmaceutical company.
