Absolute Return Bull Bear Bond Fund drops fees with new expense waiver

By Toni Weeks

San Diego, April 5 - American Independence Funds Trust negotiated a new expense waiver and reimbursement agreement with the investment adviser to its Absolute Return Bull Bear Bond Fund, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Effective immediately, the fund's adviser has voluntarily agreed to waive its investment advisory fee and/or pay expenses as necessary to limit the fund's total annual fund operating expenses to 0.9% for institutional class shares and 1.15% for class A shares. The waiver does not apply to acquired fund fees and expenses.

Prior to the waiver, the existing expense waiver limited the total annual fund operating expenses to 1.3% and 1.55% for institutional and class A shares, respectively.

New York-based American Independence Financial Services, LLC is the fund's investment adviser.
