Moody's rates Infonavit certs Aaa.Mx

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aaa.mx Mexican national scale rating and a Baa1 global scale local-currency rating to the class A-1 certificates and class A-2 certificates of Instituto del Fondo Nacional de la Vivienda para los Trabajadores to be issued by Nacional Financiera SNC, Institución de Banca de Desarrollo.

Moody's also assigned an Aa2.mx Mexican national scale rating and a Baa3 global scale local-currency rating to the class B-1 certificates.

Ratings are based on the strong mortgage origination standards of Infonavit and its capability in its role as servicer, the agency said.
