Fitch rates Myslenice BBB(pol)

Fitch Ratings said it assigned the City of Myslenice in Poland a national Long-term BBB(pol) rating.

The outlook is stable.

The rating reflects Myslenice's satisfactory operating performance, low and manageable debt and an improving national economy, the agency said.

Fitch also said the rating is constrained by account pressure on operating expenditure in education and a need for restructuring in the sector.

The stable outlook reflects Fitch's expectations that the city will keep a tight control on its operating expenditure, will implement a cost-restructuring program in education and will perform adequately in the medium term.
