MVC Capital's 7.25% senior notes admitted to begin trading on NYSE

Minneapolis, March 1 - MVC Capital, Inc.'s 7.25% senior notes due 2023 have been admitted to trading on the New York Stock Exchange, according to a notice.

The notes trade under the symbol "MVCB."

The company priced $70 million of the notes on Feb. 19.

UBS Securities LLC and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC are the joint bookrunners.

The Purchase, N.Y.-based business development company will use the proceeds to pay down a credit facility. Any remaining funds will be used for general corporate purposes.
