MSRB adds municipal asset-backed securities disclosures to EMMA

New York, Jan. 6 – The Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board said it will begin accepting disclosures for municipal asset-backed securities on Friday for its Electronic Municipal Market Access service.

Notices will be available to the public on the EMMA website.

The addition is required under the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Rule 15Ga-1.

Investors will benefit from having the disclosures readily available, the MSRB said in a news release.

The MSRB is the self-regulatory organization for the municipal bond market. It is based in Alexandria, Va.
