Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia to sell $253.17 million bonds

New York, July 27 – The Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia is set to price $253,165,000 of series 2015A Plant Vogtle bonds, said a preliminary official statement.

The deal includes $183.76 million of series 2015A Plant Vogtle Units 3 & 4 Project J bonds and $69,405,000 of series 2015A Plant Vogtle Units 3 & 4 Project P bonds.

The bonds will be sold through Wells Fargo Securities LLC and U.S. Bancorp Investments Inc. The co-managers are Barclays, BofA Merrill Lynch, BMO Capital Markets, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and TD Securities (USA) LLC.

The maturities have not been set.

Proceeds will be used to finance the Project J and P entities’ ownership interest.
