By Lisa Kerner

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 9 - Dolphin Limited Partnership III, LP said Multimedia Games, Inc.'s nominating and corporate governance committee has not confirmed the shareholder's nominee for inclusion in the slate for the 2009 annual meeting.

In a Dec. 8 letter to the committee, Dolphin said it also has not received written confirmation that proxies will be solicited for is nominee "in the same manner as all other director nominees and with the full support of the current board and its continuing members."

The letter was included in a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Dolphin, with a 7% ownership interest, said "receipt of one seat on the board was a constructive compromise offered in order to move the company forward as quickly as possible."

According to Dolphin, it has been discussing board representation with Multimedia Games since April 2008.

Austin, Texas-based Multimedia Games develops systems, content, electronic games and player terminals for the Native American and other gaming markets.
