New Issue: RBC prices $1.45 million leveraged buffered notes linked to EAFE

Olympia, Wash., Nov. 14 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $1.45 million of 0% leveraged buffered notes due Jan. 12, 2022 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 170% of the gain, subject to a maximum return of 24.31%. Investors will receive par if the index decreases by up to 15% and will lose 1.1765% for every 1% that the index may decline beyond 15%.
