Citigroup to price buffered digital notes linked to MSCI EAFE index

New York, Aug. 7 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. plans to price 13- to 15-month 0% buffered digital notes linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

If the index return is greater than or equal to 90% of its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the threshold settlement amount that is expected to fall between $1,059.50 and $1,070.00 per $1,000 of notes. The exact threshold settlement amount will be set at pricing.

Investors will lose 1.1111% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 10%.
