New Issue: RBC prices $1.3 million leveraged buffered notes linked to MSCI EAFE

Olympia, Wash., July 19 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $1.3 million of 0% leveraged buffered notes due Oct. 16, 2019 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 140% of any index gain, up to a maximum settlement amount of $1,162.96 for each $1,000 principal amount of notes.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1.1111% for each 1% decline beyond 10%.
