Barclays plans two-year capped buffer gears linked to MSCI EAFE

Chicago, May 9 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% capped buffer gears due May 31, 2019 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus double the gain up to a maximum gain of 14% to 17%.

If the index falls by up to 10%, the payout will be par.

Otherwise, investors will be exposed to losses beyond the buffer.

Barclays and UBS Financial Services Inc. are the agents.

The notes will price on May 26.

The Cusip number is 06746J211.
