New Issue: Citigroup sells $1.98 million buffered notes due 2018 tied to MSCI EAFE

Chicago, July 12 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $1.98 million of 0% buffered notes due Feb. 9, 2018 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any index gain, up to a maximum settlement amount of $1,190.50 for each $1,000 principal amount.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 12.5% and will lose 1.1429% for each 1% decline beyond 12.5%.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
